Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. Heb. 10:23 NKJV

I welcome you my beloved brethren. Whatever your experience may have been in the course of the previous year, I believe that every child of God who is spiritually introspective and understand the ways of the Lord should be able to acknowledge that, God indeed is faithful. God’s faithfulness does not imply that you did not encounter some problems, pains and difficulties along the way, but it does imply that, against all satanic intentions and intrigues, you have been more than a conqueror through the love of God in Christ Jesus who causes you to raise your head high in triumph. The faithfulness of God underscores the fact that our God, in any and every situation remains constant, yet ensuring that all things work together for the good of them that loves Him. This unique character of our heavenly Father keeps our hearts at rest no matter what happens around us or to us in this turbulence world. Therefore, in order to keep our hope steadfast in God and to help us live in perpetual rejoicing under any circumstance, we must understand that God’s faithfulness is premised on the following basic truths that:

God does not change. God is forever immutable, unchanging. “For I am the Lord, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” Mal. 3:6 NKJV. With Him there is no variableness neither shadow of turning (Jas. 1:17), because “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Num. 23:19. God forever remains unchanging in all His divine attributes because He is the same yesterday and today and forever (Heb. 13:8). Therefore, you can be rest assured that whatever God has promised to do for you He will certainly do it because He deliver on His promises. General Joshua has this to say to his fellow Israelites at the end of his adventurous life, “As you can see, I’m about to go the way we all end up going. Know this with all your heart, with everything in you, that not one detail has failed of all the good things God, your God, promised you. It has all happened. Nothing’s left undone—not so much as a word.” Josh. 23:14 MSG; Matt. 5:18. Abraham also had to learn from experience that, time, .human or environmental extremity does not change the Almighty God. Once He committed Himself to doing anything He does not look back till He accomplish His purpose. So had to learn to walk with God steadily without staggering at God’s promise (Gen. 17:1; Rom. 4:20). Therefore, you can be sure that your miracles will be delivered as you give God the glory!

Nothing Changes Him. Sometimes, we consciously or unconsciously believe and behave as if God must have been influenced or compromised by some external factors. You know things sometimes get difficult or out of human control, and we find ourselves fearful, unsecured, jittery, and panicky. Then we project God into such situations or occurrences as someone who is also suffering the same fate as we do. Such belief or behaviour makes it look as if God is under pressure or emergency and must have to adjust to meet up with the demands of the moment. We need to know that God has never had any case of emergency or any incidence or situation that put Him under pressure to provide solution. Mary and Martha once thought that Jesus’ late arrival to their home has altered the efficacy of His power to save their brother, Lazarus from death, Jn. 11:32, 39. The chief advisor to the king of Samaria in his crude faithlessness also thought that God is helpless over the extreme economic condition of their country, 2Kgs 7:1-2. The soldiers of Syria thought that God’s power is only effective in battle at a particular location or terrain but God gave them a deadly blow for underestimating Him, 1kgs 20:23, 28. Let it be clear that what you think or feel about anything or anybody including yourself or even God does not change God a bit.  Time, Natural or environmental factors does not influence Him so as to dictate His mood, power or character in relation to you as His child, Isa. 40:27, 28

Above all, He has covenanted to love you and He did that to the extreme when He gave His only begotten son to die for our redemption. There is nothing in heaven or on earth that can sway God from loving you and fulfilling His promises for you, “For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 8:38, 39.Praise God!

He changes everything to meet His own purpose. God is a purposeful God. Whatever He embarks upon to do, you can be sure that He has a good and perfect ending in view. That is why a believer should not be perturbed when he meets obstacle or unpleasant circumstance on his way. He knows and he’s confident that God will cause everything to work out for the good of them that loves Him, who are called according to His purpose Rom. 8:28. Joseph understood this principle of God, that was why he waited patiently and walked steadily/blamelessly before God till his change comes like that of Job, Gen. 45:5, 7; Job 8:14:14KJV. Nothing can frustrate God’s purpose in your life just walk before God steadily.

Your victory is sure!
